User Mapping


Click the PeopleSoft image will navigate the administrator to the User Mapping tab. If user mappings are available, all mappings are listed in the table.



Create Mapping 


  1. Click the icon to launch a Create Mapping pop up window.
  2. Provide all details by selecting the SplashBI Employee Name from the drop down. This will display a list of available employee names.
  3. The corresponding user name of the selected employee name will automatically be displayed in the SplashBI User Name field.
  4. Select the PeopleSoft connection name from the connections drop-down. It displays the PeopleSoft user name filed.


    • When the Authentication Method option is checked, the SplashBI user will be able to login with the mapped PeopleSoft user credentials only. 
    • When the Authentication Method option is not checked, the SplashBI user will be able to login with his own credentials only. 


4.  Click the Save button and the new mapping is created.


Edit Mapping 

Created mapping is edited by clicking icon of any mapping.



  • Edit will display a mapping pop up window. Modify the details and click Save to apply the changes.



Delete Mapping 


SplashBI allows the administrator to delete more than one user mapping at a time or a single deletion.


Mass Delete



  1. The user can delete multiple mappings at a time by selecting the required mappings.
  2. Click Delete icon, which is available beside the create button.


Single Delete



  1. Click the check box of the user to be deleted by selecting the required mapping.
  2. Click the Delete icon of any mapping. Once the delete icon has been clicked, the employee will be removed from the list.
